Aerial Photography Part 1

Why do aerial photographs look so good?
Actually, it's an old photographers trick called "the rule of thirds". According to the rule, an image will look it's best when the subject and other eyecatching items are along a set of lines across the images vertically and horizontally at one third. Below is one of our aerial photographs of the Riveira Golf Course. The subject, being the building, is placed one third from the bottom. The horizon, the other prominent feature, is placed one third from the top.

The angle is also important. A shot taken from the front, will appear very flat and ugly with very little depth. Taken at an angle, the resulting shot gives depth and a pleasing appearance, as well as showing the front, side and roof or balconies.

Why digital?

  • Immediate results.
You get all your images on a CD on the same day. If you need them even sooner, we can email select images to you.
  • Electronic format
Images are in a format available for use immediatley. Images can be emailed all over the world, to graphics companies, print companies, international auctioneers and marketing companies as well as potential clients.
  • Printing
The format means they can be edited straight away, drafted into your portfolios or urgent brochures without waiting for development.
  • Editing
If the images need touching up, it can be done without any further steps, such as scanning. See the images below for examples of before and after editing.

Original Photo Altered Photo with More Houses
By cloning existing townhouses into the original photograph, a complete visualization
of the development can be obtained without laying a single brick!

Original Photo Altered Photo with Grass
Photo altered to cover dry ground and vendors. The colours we altered from winter to
summer, before going to print at 2xAO size (1189mm x 1682mm).
